Steve, I do it all the time. Either on a Stroboframe bracket or on a lightstand. Also in multiples (up to 3 of them), TTL still works like a champ. You can also set a Pentax Function on the MZ-S so that pushing the illuminator button the body triggers the modeling mode on the flashes.
