John,

I just ordered your suggestion - the mini box  (after confirming a few things)  - sounds perfect and size good.  But I found a different 27" inch Dell screen
for $137.   I had to confirm that I did not have to use wifi .

I hate using Amazon - but it is hte easiest thing here and they are used to delivering packages to this building.

Thanks much!
ann

Dell Inspiron 24 All-in-One with win 11 installed.
hp all in one .  Monitor size on both 24"   don't want touch screen.
I'll still be keeping my Hp with win 7 as storage and back up
Question especially for you guys who kinda know my work flow.

TIA for any advice..

Is this one of those refurbished 24 inch all-in-ones? I'm not fond of 24" displays. I think 27" is really a minimum size I can recommend (and for my own use, 32" is better).

What kind of budget are you working with?

I would suggest looking at one of those "Mini Computers" (Windoze version of the Mac Mini).

You could pair these & still get out for ~ $600 (or maybe a little less)

https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Micro-OptiPlex-3060-Built-WiFi/dp/B0BF97Z7T2
($300 from Amazon)

https://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2721QS-Ultra-Thin-DisplayPort-Certified/dp/B08DQWG3JG/
($270 from Amazon)

... as much as it gripes me to suggest buying anything from Amazon after what Bezos has done to the Washington Post. I'd hope you could find a better deal from a different vendor.
