Thanks. That was my first time playing with astrotracer on the K-3 III. It does work significantly better than the GPS version. My biggest complaint is that the camera recalibrates every frame, whether you move it, or change settings. > I like your rendition of the t-bone musicians. Thanks, I've actually known Riley since he was about 13. He would play in his father's band at a lot of the swing and blues dances in the Bay Area. He's an impressive triple threat, never know if he's going to be on the bone, the drums or the base. > Hope you didn't use the short end of the 18-270 on the rattler. 🙂 Only the short end of its lifespan. Earlier that day my bike toppled and it busted the lens. It was cheaper to replace it with a used tamron 18-250 (which I actually like a bit better) than it was to repair it. I've also since switched to usually carrying a u4/3 camera on my bike rides. I definitely feel the tradeoff between weight and image quality between the Pentax gear and the Oly. > -p > > > On 1/2/2025 12:53 AM, Larry Colen wrote: >> After my first go at the annual I started collecting my "best of" for each >> month to make it easier to select my submissions.
