PESO: velvet shank

For the third winter season the huge chestnut tree in front of our house 
has velvet shank mushrooms on its trunk.
Little life is left in the tree and the heavy branches were earlier 
removed for safety, so only the trunk is left.
For me it is an interesting object to watch and to photograph the 
various species of mushrooms coming and going.
