I have had great difficulty shooting birds in flight & aerobatics
with the K5 & HD 55-300. I found MF gave the best results but still
only about 10% savers.
A chap in Johannesburg produced some very good aerobatic shots with a
K3ii & PLM. As you say, the K3iii would probably be even better.
