No reason other than that was what I was looking at when the idea occurred.

But it does seem to be rather a unique style that would be easy to see if you'd managed to catch it.

Making an homage to a single individual’s style seems a bit narrow to me, and 
why choose Wes Anderson rather than Kurosawa or Godard or Hitchcock or Varda or
