The little I have used it so far … results of course look like a mirror lens. That’s to be expected. It compares favorably to the Tokina & other mirror lenses that I’ve used in the past. It’s certainly better on the contrast side. Its big advantage would be for travel where space is a consideration. Especially going overseas where weight charges might be a concern. In a couple of weeks I’m going to try to shoot a local nest pair of bald eagles with it. And I’ll compare it to the F\*300/4.5. Of course the F\* will be optically way above it.
