Not really, although it is multi factorial. Mostly, it appears to be due to changes in habitat. Gardens and other urban green spaces, where some of their food and habitat is located, have changed in design to provide less of both. They look very tidy and open but, to most wildlife, they are a green desert. On a day-to-day basis, some of this might be replaced by other inputs, like the waste from fast food factors.
