I had my D200 and K10-D that I had not used in years so I offered one of them to him. The D200's thumb wheels that change iso, wb etc were not working 100% so he looked at the 10D, i explained the AF issues and such and it had my old 16-45 on it, He opted for the 10D which i gave him no money asked
How very kind of you. I seem to remember that the D200 is a close relative of the *istDS. I had probs with its thumbwheel. It went totally erratic and a tiny little amount of contact spray (less is more in such cases, don't flood the camera with it) cured it for good. All the best to you for the new year. Ralf -- Ralf R.
