I pretty much treated it as the body cap for my camera for quite a while, because while it was never the *right* lens, if I didn’t have time to mount the right lens, it would generally do well enough. As it turns out, when I was loading the van, I startled a junco in my front yard, but it didn’t seem to care that much, it only moved a short ways. I thought about grabbing the 50-500 but I realized the 18-250 was in the bag in my hands. I took some shots with it, how better to test a new lens?, and after a quick look I’ll say that the bigma might have done better, but I think I’ll still get a few decent ones, and had I tried to get the bigma the bird would have flown away and I wouldn’t have gotten anything. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
