Greeting to all the Canadians on this list! (I believe my earlier post was bounced by the list admin because it contained a graphic.)
My two favorite beach area, Maui and Cape May County, NJ, are both magnets for Canadian vacationers seeking warmer waters. I have always found them to be friendlier, and more polite, that most Americans from the mainland US. I also found them gracious and welcoming in French Canada, especially Quebec city. Canadians are, I believe, the only nationality consistently mocked for their modesty and politeness -- except, of course, on the ice.
