Just returned from a few days hiking in the White Mountains. Spent
pretty much all the time there hiking, and on some damned tough trails
at that, so I didn't do as much photography as I'd liked. Got some of
the usual mountain streams and landscapes and such. Not bad but
nothing outstanding. Then I got this: A patch of Clinton's Lily
growing amongst some ferns. The buds of the lily were several inches
above the fern (and the leaves of the lily) so I stacked two images
focused at different points. I'm well pleased with the result:
