No, this was an actual impersonation.  Tried to prove his Bona Fides by reciting the public record that my lawyer has recorded, which don't actually match his business practices.   It was interesting.  I actually spoke with my lawyer, apparently his e-mail account was somehow breached, and the perpetrators got his address book.  He's a sole practitioner so it's not like he has a huge IT staff, in fact sometimes I'm his IT staff.
