You know, Bill, I am yet to see a Hitchcock movie from start to finish. But, yes, it is dark-ish and square-ish and may be a bit creepy, though I thought it was just a street scene with a funny text to add.
In fact, this very shop in Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv, does not stop to produce fun writings on its front window...
