That was shot in the Allegan State Game Area, 50,000 acres of state land
set aside for wildlife and hunting. Lots of uncommon birds there but
usually seen in fleeting glimpses.

I don't do many bird photos these days but this guy was so oblivious to me that
I was able to change lenses and get out of the car to try for a few shots. Wish
I had remembered to switch from AF-S to AF-C!
