I agree with Jack about the "rule" well let's call it a guideline. I
don't think it applies here. As the subject pretty well fills the frame
touching the edges is not a visual problem. This photo is meant to be
art not a textbook exemplar.
I like the photo as is and like the angle of the flower and the leaves.
It is the kind of picture you could hang and not tire of.

I generally agree with what you say about touching the frame image, but in
this case I thought it necessary to show what I wanted and avoid a
conflicting color just out of the frame to the top.
