Some yers back, I stopped at a small Vermont town on my way to Hanover, NH.

On the porch of the general store, chatting with the owner, I noticed that
there were two signs at the corner. Each said "Hanover," and each had an
arrow, but the arrows pointed to two different road, at 90 degrees to each
other. "Does it matter which road to Hanover we take?" I asked. "Not to
me it doesn't," the store owner replied.
