Thanks all!
I’ll go back in later and add some more descriptive captions to supplement the
uninformative file numbers.

Igor, yes the grand canal shot is of the Grand Canal in Venice. As is the
smaller canal. The blue-topped church is on Santorini, the red topped chapel is
on Mykonos. The background for the yacht image is the coast of Santorini, if
you look closely you can see the whitewashed buildings in a jumble along the
clifftop.

Jack, the shot you tagged is interesting. I liked the scene well enough to stop
walking in the rain long enough to pull out the camera and compose/shoot. And I
was pleased with the result. But I very likely would have pressed onward to a
warm dry interior just down the way, but I wanted a “for the record” shot of
our hotel and hadn’t done one before. (You can see the Hotel Falier sign in the
back center.)

As I went back through I noticed that there is a 2nd one by Meg that I had not
acknowledged before, the one just before the Gianfranco shot. Also I should
comment that while most of the images are from Venice or the Greek Isles, the
first bird shot is from in front of our house in Michigan, the wood stork at
the end is from the Everglades. And the structure in #2 across the pond is the
A.B. Dow Home and Studio, a local attraction and the center of a major
Mid-Century Modern revival in our community. An interesting place to visit.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon there with a small group watching home movies
shot by A.B. Dow in the mid-1920s.
