At this very moment, I would vote for K1000. I know many might vote for the LX. But as far as I can see, LX is not the most reliable Pentax 135 model. The aluminum alloy prism housing is quite dent prone too. This is especially noticeable when compared the LX to Nikon F3 or Canon F-1. Super A/Program is very trouble free too. However, I do not know how well it stands against extreme heat, dusty and humidity environments.
