Sounds like you had a good time, Frank. Good job you had lots of film. Were you getting fuzzy images after the brewery tour? Doors Open Toronto is pretty neat. For non-Torontonians, it's an annual event where interesting places normally closed to the public are opened for the weekend. I first heard about it last year at the last minute, and just had time to take my blonde model to Old City Hall, dressed as a lawyer (gray pantsuit and briefcase) to do some fashion shots in one courtroom, in the large hall near some of the stained-glass windows, and later at the Eaton Center.
The Gooderham and Worts site is now used for making movies, and was used in the X-Men movie. Another popular site during Doors Open is the beautiful old water filtration plant in the east end. It shows up on TV as the hideout of the New Mutants on Mutant-X. Yet another place for a rare picture opportunity is the Don Jail. Happy shooting!
