This is just a rant, but if anyone has anything helpful or instructive to say
about it it would be appreciated.

I have a Google email account that I rarely use, yet it causes me a lot of
problems. Or maybe I should just say it does things that irritate me. My ISP is
ATT and I use ATT/Yahoo email. E.g., in my Google archive are 2,323 messages to
PDML. And there is a mailbox created by Google named “Important.” In it three
are another huge number of messages to PDML.

For a while I was getting fairly regular messages from Google saying someone
had signed onto my account and that they had disabled it. As near as I could
tell that was simply because I was using Apple Mail instead of Googles mail
app. That seems to have stopped.

It is useful to have a Google account. E.g., so that I have access to YouTube.
I could do without my Google mail account. If deactivate my mail account, will
I still have access to Google otherwise?
