We can be standing by with cups of tea, bowls of soup and lashings of warm ginger cake when Team India whizzes through. Great idea Bob! I did the PBP in 1987 and one of my strongest memories of the event is the excellent support along the way. It is wonderful to see a familiar face waiting at the checkpoints. August 2019. So far I don’t have anything else booked for that period… The way to do it would be for you, me, Chris and any other over-the-hill, ageing, has-been cyclists to meet the vigorous, mighty-thighed youngsters at each checkpoint with a profusion of sustenance, then when they set off we could pack up and cycle round to the next one ready to meet them when they arrive. It'd be a lovely surprise for them to see all our smiling faces at each checkpoint. https://youtu.be/S_32aKfqL0Q -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
