What I was confused by are two things:
1. That building corner "flattened" looks too flat. But maybe that's due to the compression by the long lens used.

2. The sape of the broken window on the left.
If you compare photos #3 and #4 here:

apparently, it looks the shape is the same as in #3, but not as in #4 (and #1), - i.e. it doesn't have the "side" tail. But if you click on #2 to zoom in, - you can see that that triangular "tail" is created by a curtain or something like that.
