Thanks, Rick, Paul and Larry! There is not much noise in the spectators' area, but I'm sure it gets a bit noisy in the middle of the pack when they are all starting to inflate.
There was a huge crowd, and a lot of balloons almost directly overhead, since the wind was very weak. I was trying to get one image to include as many of the balloons as possible and still include a feeling for the size and activity of the crowd. This was not entirely successful, but it was the most of each I was able to capture in the same frame.
