Found this chap while pottering about this weekend. He's been cutting hair here for over 70 years, and is deaf as a post, but full of stories. Since I'm also pretty deaf the conversation mostly consisted of us shouting "Pardon? I can't hear you! What?" At each other.
Between barely stifled giggles, my friend asked him if he'd cut my hair. He said "He hasn't got any!" Anyway, I had my hair, such as it is, cut for the second time in as many weeks; it cost £3.50.
