Roswell is both the most thoroughly debunked and the most persistent claim of a UFO incident. The site of the alleged landing, Roswell, is in the middle of nowhere, about equidistant from Santa Fe, Albuquerque, El Paso and Lubbock.It is Mecca to UFO conspiracy theory proponents.
