The street signs and the house number plates are of course quite unattractive. It was an interesting experience to stand where all those great minds gathered to create the atomic or nuclear age. I wanted to preserve the moment for myself, and I posted the collage here ti create an excuse to share that moment and to note a part of the history of Santa Fe of which some may not be aware. Lee and I had hoped to make a quick trip to Los Alamos on the day before we flew back home, but the ruins at Puye Pueblo were so interesting and so inviting to explore that we stayed there longer than planned. As a result, we did not have time to drive to Los Alamos and back before the final class dinner, so we substituted a quick trip to Loretto Chapel instead.
