I like my 16-45 a lot. Got it to go with my ist D about a decade ago. My
only frustration is the limited zoom range. I would likely replace it with
a 17-70 if I trusted that Pentax had fixed its SDM drive.

Faster lenses are too large and heavy to be appealing.
