Pop Warner is not a school league. It’s an independent business like Little
League. There’s no official name for elementary school football in most places.
Here, the leagues have names, but I don’t know what they are. The level of play
is designated as either Junior Varsity and Varsity, borrowing the terminology
high schools and some colleges use. So I just shortened it to junior league,
which evoked something else altogether. Much ado about nothing.
