Thanks for that link Brian! I had been blissfully ignorant of all of this 
kerfluffel, happily going on with LR6.0.1. If I had noticed an option to 
upgrade I might well have done so. After reading the Adobe apology and some of 
the hundreds of cogent replies I am very happy not to have gone down that path. 
But I wish they would do something to fix the big hit in start-up speed that 
occurred with version 6.
