Not Open Source, but Olympus new "Air A01" includes the ability to write apps 
to drive it.

This little camera/gizmo looks like quite a lot of fun to play with.
Since I already have a bunch of compatible lenses and stuff, and it's pretty 
cheap, I decided to order one?
