I'm with Jack...I like the color version better. While b/w usually conveys a more ominous mood, this conversion seems to lose detail in the foreground/middle ground that is there in the color version. That detail, to me, is an important part of the image. Maybe a different b/w preset or adjustment would bring that detail out more.
