You could start bitching about the up comming full frame Pentax, you know what you don't like and what you wish it had, and how it's not as good as the competition etc....

Nah - I'm not in the market for it so it's only of mild interest. ;-)>

Is that a CS2 only thing?
It seems strange that one can go back a couple of generations in PS and
things work.

Maybe it's CS2 that's the problem? I think that version was a bit
squirrely.

I don't know about 'squirrely" but it's behaviour with K-3 files is
certainly odd.

Just for kicks, I installed Photoshop CS2 and tried it on the sample
K-3 DNG that I downloaded earlier. As expected, CS2 refused to load
it. I then ran the file through DNG Converter, the file size reduced
from 29.24MP to 24.28MP and CS2 loaded it without problems. The thing
is though, it didn't matter what Camera Raw compatibility I chose (2.4
all the way up to 7.1), CS2 opened all of the converted files (which
were all identical in size).

Now, what else can I do to waste another hour or so?
