Visited the local Wildlife Area again yesterday. Last couple trips I've seen this same (I think) young eagle. This time he sat in the top of a lightning struck (?) tree enjoying a bloody mound of wading bird. Was a brilliantly sunny day at home, but as I drove to the "hunting" area I began to lose the sun. Having summed it up appropriately (I was alone in the rig)I proceeded. This shot was a dense silhouette. The result isn't exactly what I was looking for, but am again pleased with what I was able to bring out from at least 150 yds. Am always looking for catch light in an eye.
Comments? Thanks!
