So do we have a significant contingent of Super A/ Super Program
owners here?
I hear a lot about are LXes, MXes and the medium format gear- thought
I was one of the few with one of these. :-)

I am one of that contingency. It was my first 35mm camera purchase. It
was purchased new. It has been through a lot. I have had it CLA'd once a
few years ago. This is the camera I inadvertently put my finger through the
shutter while in Yosemite. That forced me to just use the LX. That evening
I pushed the shutter back in and nary a problem since. I use one or two of
my LXen with the MZ-S tossed in and thus the Super Program has not seen
action in a while. With all this recent talk about it, I may need to toss a
roll in it and take it for a spin.
I had a second Super Program that I used for backup, but a friend was
looking for a camera and I had to keep him from the non-Pentax path. It is
the only camera I have ever sold...
