This is very good news indeed, except possibly for my bank account.

This lens is groundbreaking. I don't think that there has ever been a zoom this fast before. I do a lot of photography indoors in low light, as in f/1.8 is barely fast enough. Depending on how the job search goes, I may consider selling my 31 ltd to finance this lens.
