Actually, I feel the same way about Nature walks, birding walks,
committees, travel tours ... The shot was "one" of the reasons...
but figuratively it coveres the whole terrain.
But basically I just don't like doing stuff in groups... and I
especially don't like paying to do things in groups that I
can do just as well alone. One other person is nice sometimes,
but a gaggle is too many.
It is annoyingly hot and humid here today - I'm grumpy

I gotta respond to this as I've attended many workshops and tours and
find most participants I've shot with don't exhibit this behavior. Sure
the first timers is most likly to stick to a group and shoot in cluster,
but the more experienced photog , in my experience will find his owns
scenes and shoot them.
I returned a few weeks ago from a workshop in the U P of Michigan and
after 5 days of shooting with 4 other photogs, I can honestly say I
never experienced the group shoot depicted in the photo. Perhaps it was
the fact that the other participant were older more experienced photogs.
Not to say we didn't point out to the others where we had made some images.
And I guess the group shoot might reflect the on the leader and the way
he runs the workshop.
