I like this kind of photography. I live smack in the middle of what was once a vibrant and populated prairie, and is now dotted with literally hundreds of abandoned farms, villages and even small towns. A friend of mine has taken a few years to document some of these places. He has quite an amazing body of work, more so if you consider that he is a paraplegic, is confined to a wheelchair, and most of his pictures are taken with his camera mounted on a ball head that is clamped to the driver's side window of his van.
