I really wish I could get down to the other wildlife preserve this time of year. The lakes there are really beautiful at times, with lots of cypress trees jutting out of them. It's really too bad that they close the place down during the fall and winter months, but it stays flooded throughout most of that time of year, so I figure they don't have much choice. They'd be dragging people out of there every other day if they didn't.
