The release notes for the firmware are here: <http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/finepix _x100/> Few of the changes make any difference to the way I use it, because I don't use the EVF. However, I like the way they've incorporated into the optical viewfinder a depth of field scale with a bar to show what is covered when you're focusing manually. This has greatly improved the usability of manual focus through the OVF and is rather clever, although engraving an old school dof scale on the lens would have done the trick without the electronic wizardry. There are all sorts of other things going on in the viewfinder which weren't there before, but I haven't had time to investigate them yet.
