A few weeks ago, I went to use my IR modified K-5 and it was dead. I shipped it back to pro-camera, and they said that the main board has gone bad. They will do the repairs with free labor, but have to charge for the cost of a new board ($215).
Someone just posted that the had a K-5 with a cracked body. Are you interested in selling it "for parts"? Please drop me a note off list.
