The America II is a ship that competed in the preliminary races a number of years back. After some Coast Guard mandated modifications and an engine to get it out of harbor, it now sails out of Lahaina Maui with a load of tourists three times a day. We tried it a while back, and it is still a thrill for us landlubbers.
