Well, that was my first thought, and I bought the lens because I thought that it might be the Vivitar which is reputed to be on par with the A100/2.8 Macro. But the Vivitar is a 1:2 Macro, and goes to 1:1 with an extension tube. The f/2,8 Lens is the 1:1, at least at Vivitar.
