I shot a roll of Tri-X in the Leica iiif yesterday, with the Summicron 50/2.0. 
I figured I ought to shoot some real BW film, rather than converting color. Of 
course that meant I had to dig out my developing tank and 10 year old 
chemicals. Thank goodness for the Hewes reels, which are still easy to load 
even without any practice. Chemicals looked fine. They were in tightly stopped 
impervious jugs. I like the fine yet somewhat sharp grain of the current 
version of Tri-X. Not a bad film at all. Here's one pic:
