It looks like the plane is going west along (and just north of) 105.

The reason it is hard to see the northbound 405 is because it is at the
ground level, and thus in the shadow of the 105. But you can clearly see
the interchange from S-bound 405 (from the north) into the westbound
105.
Dan,
I always try to get the window seat while flying. Very few cities
offer interesting photo opportunities on the approach or take-off.
