Some on this list occasionally check my Facebook feed; you may have noticed my new profile picture. In the interests of full disclosure, I must confess that it was taken with a Nikon (D700 I believe). By an interesting guy I met on the cruise and shared dinners and more than a few beers with. Retired autoworker from Windsor Ontario, works at Henry's and does occasional weddings. Spending time with him and his wife was one of the highlights of the trip for us.
Another Nikon shooter I encountered was a retired AP photographer from Toronto; he told interesting stories about how he stumbled into some of his famous shots (like the one of Pres. Ford tripping on the tarmac). I saw far more Nikon DSLR's than Canon, no Pentax DSLR's but several other WG-II's.
