Our next-door neighbor is a retired Dow-Corning PhD chemist. When he is not on
photo safari [Canon shooter] in Africa or South America or the American
Southwest, he works as a motivational speaker and professional magician. He is
writing a book describing/detailing a few of the tricks he has invented and for
which he is internationally known. For the last five years he has been working
on The Book. He still has a long way to go. And a very patient publisher
waiting for the product. I have had a couple of books published and doubt if
they would have ever happened if I didn't have motivated co-editors/co-authors.
It helps to have colleagues encouraging one-another along.
