Mark, A very distant bell started ringing as I read the above. I think, although I am not 100 per cent sure, that a few years back I reported that a photo mag (probably Swedish) had tested a Rikenon 50 f2.0 to be the sharpest 50mm lens they had ever tested (MTF). If I find this article again I'll get back to you. (Is there any way you can search for messages to the old PDML, while run on the Pentax-server?)
