Cervélo was high on my list but I couldn't find one that was both in my size
and remotely affordable. I sat on this one for a long time, mainly because of
my foot injury but also for budgetary reasons. When the seller reduced the
asking price I couldn't afford not to...

Aero, aero and aero, the three rules of long-distance tri bikes :) UCI be
damned*. The courses are usually pretty flat so weight is secondary.

BTW the down tube is also pretty thin when viewed from the front.

I'm itching to ride it but I can't just yet. The pedals should arrive tomorrow
but I probably won't be home when the courier arrives.

I'm planning to sell that delicious rear wheel as I'm not a fan of tubulars...
we'll see how the budget goes as to what I decide to put on instead. I may end
up renting race wheels just when I need them.

*To be honest I don't remember if this model is UCI legal or not; their new
Illicito model definitely isn't as they removed the non-drive-side seat stay.
The ITU is more lenient with its bike rules than the UCI, but a UCI legal
tri/TT bike has a much wider market appeal.

Cheers,
Dave
