I think the only way one could adjust for manual focus would be by shimming the screen. I haven't seen anything to indicate that manual focus is less than precise on any of my recent Pentax cameras. The autofocus adjustment is electronic and done by means of the menu. I fine tune autofocus on all of my cameras for all of my autofocus lenses. Most needed some tweaking to nail the focus point.
